General Tour FAQs

Our tours are not hiking tours, so don’t worry! We will be walking around at the attractions, but the walking is not physically demanding.

For a full list of inclusions for each tour, click on the link for the tour you are interested.  The inclusions are listed at the top of the tour description. For any other questions please contact us.

Niagara Falls

We do not book helicopter flights as part of our tours as helicopter flights are cancelled if weather conditions are not suitable.

However, our tour includes the Whirlpool Rapids, which is where the helicopter rides depart from. When we arrive you will have the opportunity to take a ride if they are operating, where you will pay the operator – Niagara Helicopter Rides – directly. We are more than happy to help you with a discount on the flight.

The flights are spectacular and we highly recommend them.

Flights run every day from 9:00 AM until sunset.

Niagara Falls is open every day of the year.

The Hornblower Niagara Cruise does not operate during the winter (November to March), depending on the weather. When the cruise is not operating we will replace the cruise with either a visit to Skylon Tower or the Journey Behind the Falls.

Exact cruise open dates can be found here https://www.niagaracruises.com (opens in new tab).

Payment

No, there are no extra fees. When you buy a tour from our site you can add upgrades during the Checkout process, but once you have chosen your options and paid for your tour we won’t ask you for any more money.

If you want to go on a helicopter flight you will need to pay the helicopter company on the day (we don’t take bookings as flights can be cancelled due to bad weather). We will help you secure a discount if you want to do this.

During the day we will visit the town and local winery, so there are opportunities for you to purchase food, drinks or other items if you wish.

As we make plans and commit resources according to our bookings, we can accommodate some cancellations but not others, depending on when we receive them.  Here is our refund/cancellation policy:

  • Full refund for cancellations 7 business days or more prior to the tour.
  • Full refund less a $20 cancellation fee for cancellations between 48 hours and 7 business days prior to the tour.
  • 50% refund for cancellations between 48 and 24 hours prior to the tour.
  • No refund for cancellations within 24 hours of the tour.

Payment is made online using a secure payment facility, as part of the tour checkout process. Just book the tour of your choice and the checkout process will simply lead you through payment.

At this time we do not offer discount tickets to students. However, if you have a school group, then contact us for large group pricing.

Yes, for groups of 10 or more people, please fill out the form below and let us know how many people you would like to book. We will get back to you ASAP with pricing.

Preparation

We know that when you are travelling you don’t always have a printer available, so we don’t require printed receipts. We will match your name with the booking, so bring identification and you’re all good to go!

Wear comfortable clothes. Make sure you check the weather and wear appropriate clothing as weather can vary from lovely and warm to extremely cold (snow) during the year.

A lot of mist comes off Niagara Falls, so we recommend you bring a light raincoat.

Most definitely your camera!! Apart from that, you don’t need much. If you wish you can bring a day pack to carry extra snacks and drinks (bottled water is provided).

No, you do not. All activities (including the cruise) are carried out within Canada.

Reservation

Pre-paid bookings are required for all tours. This helps us determine the number of guides and vehicle type we need to ensure that we can give Executive-quality care to our tour groups.  This also allows us to notify you of any changes to the tour due to weather or other factors.

If you would like to make a same-day booking, please call us and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Every day. You choose the date most suitable for you.

For all booking changes, just contact us.  You can change your pickup location, change the number of people coming, add or remove options and so on.

Transport

Absolutely! We are happy to drop you off at your Niagara Falls hotel after your tour.

We leave Niagara Falls every day to return to Toronto at approximately 3:00 PM.

There is an additional per-person charge for next-day return – all you need to do is add this to your tour in the Checkout process and specify in the Checkout Comments which day you would like to return.

Yes, we have handicapped accessible vehicles available for our tours.

If you need an ADA accessible vehicle, then you need to let us know so that we can make sure one is available for your tour.

Either add your request to the Comments in the Checkout process or contact us after booking (no later than 48 hours prior to departure).

Our vehicles are classed as commercial vehicles, so they are not required to have special seats for toddlers and infants. However, you are welcome to bring your own. Parents usually have their infant/toddler on their lap during the trip.
